As part of our commitment to human resource development, we invite applications from candidates pursuing B.Sc., B.Tech., B. Pharm., M.Sc., M.Tech., M. Pharm., M.Phil. in Life Sciences stream, to undertake research training (dissertation and project work) towards partial fulfilment of their academic degree. We aid in the project, conducted according to the norms of the university, which will give students industrial exposure. Students can carry out their dissertation in the following focus areas:

• Plant biotechnology: Plant tissue culture, bioproduction, molecular biology, plant genetic transformation, agri/ horti-biotechnology.
• Bioinformatics: Drug discovery/ molecular docking, sequence and structural analysis, protein modeling, biological database analysis, biological data management.
• Botany: Plant collection, identification, herbarium preparation, preservation of specimens, microscopic slides preparation, Plant systematics, anatomy, physiology, ecology, environmental science, horticulture, agronomy.
• Phytochemistry: Plant biochemistry, extraction, isolation, characterisation of metabolites, compound identification, qualitative, quantitative analysis of bioactives.
• Interdisciplinary sciences: Uniquely integrates applied sciences with other basic science disciplines promoting new approaches for addressing specific research problems in life sciences. It trains students to pursue innovative, interdisciplinary research in an array of fields including microbiology, biostatistics etc.
